So… now I only deserve respect when my number is lower than your misogynistic ideal number?
… And when did I become JUST a number?
Dude, it’s kind of the same thing when guys talk about how many girls they been with. Some people really don’t care to…
The main reason why people try to stay away from individuals with really high numbers is because their chances of having an STD is higher.
Hence why I pointed out that girls (and guys) will actually AVOID a dude who has a high number of sexual partners.
Not dissing you on your “numbers” or anything, not agreeing with those people, just saying when people hear about a “high number” from ANYONE, it sends up a red flag in their head with regards to STDs and shit.
Society can say all it want about guys being “omg so pimp” when it comes to getting multiple girls, but in reality, no one really wants to take a chance with a super promiscuous dude who has a possibly of having an STD or AIDs.
And yes, girls should not be portrayed as little dolls, but they don’t necessarily have to have sex to prove they’re not little dolls. They are plenty of other ways to do that.
But STDs are a high risk no matter how many people you have slept with. You can even be born with them if your mother had/has them. And I never said that isn’t THE ONLY WAY to prove you’re not a “doll”.
That’s still not an excuse for someone to willingly put themselves at risk thinking “Well, it doesn’t matter.” because it does. They’re just putting themselves at an even higher risk.
That would be like someone saying “Everything causes cancer, and it may even run in my family, so I’m going to smoke anyway.”
So now you’re comparing sex to smoking? Okay, I love your argument, please keep going. Honestly, it’s no excuse for you to dictate what someone chooses to do with their body. Yes, STD’s get passed around. NO, it’s not only by someone who has a very high number of partners. Yes, there are a lot of people out there who have a high number of partners and have never gotten an STD. Is the number, and health of person between that person and their current partner? Yes. Is it your business if you have nothing to do with either person? No. Is slut shaming still a thing? Yes. Should it not be because it is ridiculous, pathetic, and immature? Yes.
